Yes, this is really the Munch Ranch Farm that was featured in the Borat movie Spring of 07.
Here is the famous 'Tortoise in a shell' along with Mike, Borat, and me, Larry.

The Ranch is a five acre private collection of various types of exotic and farm animals. The beautifully wooded farm is located in East Texas, 16 miles west of Athens, and 16 miles south of Canton, where First Monday is a popular attraction.

Larry Munchrath & Michael Nordin have been breeding an assortment of animals for several decades.

MunchRanch is gradually becoming a botanical garden full of wonderful and interesting animals .

The wallabies live in a large, outdoor area, with a 6 ft. chain link fence bordering the pen. The winters here can get in the teens, so shelter is provided with hay, and a few heat lamps for really cold nights. The joey in the bag is a wallaby female, and the one in my arms is a roo male. Of course, all our babies are bottle fed and kept in the house, and with diaper changes about 3 times a day, they get lots of attention.

The birds  are in a large aviary. There are a variety of Australian grass Parakeets,which are some of the mostbeautiful in the world,

we also now raise some very beautiful MINIATURE chickens from Malaysia called Serama.

Finally, there are several types of unusual cats and dogs here.  There are Chihuahuas, Chinese Crested, Pugs, & Puggles, Maltese, Morkies,Chi Chis.

The Chinese Crested dogs come with and without hair! They coexist with the cats.
We also sometimes have black, brindle, and fawn pugs. Soon we may have Yorkies and Maltese breeds.

One new feline to this country is the Siberian Cat from Russia.   They are very special. If you are allergic to cats, you might find that you can have one of these hypoallergenic cats.

We also may have Savannah cats.

     My sister, Connie, is holding Sasha, a serval kitten. She loves cats, but has allergies.
So to solve that problem, she has acquired the new love of her life, a red and white Hypoallergenic Siberian cat named Stoli. Of course, she treats it like her new child, birthday celebrations and all! She recently acquired another Siberian that is pure white with blue eyes. His name is Ice. Now, she has genuine Stoli & Ice from Russia. :)

And now we have some incredible, naturally occurring miniature cattle called Zebu. These humped cattle look like miniature brahman. This adult is typical of the breed. Click on The Zebu link to see more and read about them. The calves are precious. The new one we had was 20 inches at birth.
