We now have rare, Serama Miniature Chickens. colorful, active, garden jewels. They are fun to watch,
good yard cleaners for bugs and pulverizing livestock patties and great egg layers. $45 a pair + shipping, which is $80 US postal svc.,=$125 total.) Individual Cocks are $20. I will sell individual Cocks, but not hens.
Shipping a pair is $125 (if you use the Postal Service.) Shipping two pairs is $170 ($90 for two pairs + $80 for shipping) Shipping 3 pairs is $230 ($135 for three pairs + $95 for shipping) It will cost $80 extra to ship a pair, a trio, or two pairs. (2, 3, or 4 birds) It will cost $95 extra to ship 3 pairs, or 4 pairs (6, or 8 birds) (Shipping includes crate)
Shipping adult chickens requires a special micro filter
shipping container and is required by the federal government.
Micro Filter Crates are expensive.

A few sample costs are shown below: I have dozens of cocks, and only a few hens, so I do not sell hens alone.
(Compare to shipping via Continental an airline would be $125)

They come in a multitude of beautiful colors and produce different colors. We have many pairs ready to go.

More photos below. The males are all about 16 oz.
I cannot guarantee color but whites, but will catch the nicest ones I can.
Everyone wants the smallest, but they are all around the same size if they are the same age.
Currently, I do not have any Silky Seramas..

My chickens are not cateorgized as in the Serama club, and that is one reason they are cheap compared to others,
which go as high as $500 according the the Serama site. These were purchased as unregistered, pure Seramas from a local breeder,
Altough all his were registered, I did not want to pay the registered price and go through all that.
These are great layers, and most of the will hatch out lots of chicks. Mine are free range and can fly very well.

The price does not include any shipping or crate charges.

For small birds only : Shipping with Continental, American, is $250, or Delta Dash is $150-$200 (using a small crate) and depending upon the airline fees at the time.
Chicken shipping is higher and prices are shown above.
With Delta, it is per shipment, and with the other Airlines it is per crate.
This is assuming that the airlines of choice services your airport and there are no temperature restrictions.
Only Continental will ship above 85 degrees and in some cases, Delta will.
